FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
AJS Groundcare offers many services to improve your property. Below are some frequently asked questions.
DO YOU PROVIDE FREE QUOTES?
Yes we do! Each project is unique and has many variables. We do our best to provide a quote where applicable, or an estimate with an explanation and expected price range.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
Discounts are available for larger projects, repeat customers, referrals, groups, communities, and more.
HOW DO YOU DISPOSE OF REFUSE?
Whatever can burned responsibly onsite is our recommendation as it's the least expensive. Other refuse that's hauled away is reused as much as able, such as rocks and gravel, concrete pieces, etc. We aim to repurpose and avoid utilizing a landfill!

CAN YOU WORK ALONE?
It is the property owner's responsibility to ensure clear directions, answer questions, and be aware of what is above, on & below the ground in the working area. It is ideal to have the property owner available at all times while on site.
WHAT HOURS DO YOU WORK?
Work is scheduled based on your availability. We have flexible scheduling, Monday - Saturday, 9am - dusk! We typically schedule inside an approximate arrival time frame.
IS YOUR WORK WEATHER DEPENDENT?
Unfortunately that's the nature of outdoor services - there are times we need to work around the weather! Additionally, if it had been raining before your scheduled appointment, we may reschedule for a later date as the ground becomes soft and water logged. We work with heavy equipment, which could leave marks on soft ground.
HOW LOUD IS YOUR EQUIPMENT?
All power equipment is generally about the same decibel level and regulated by the government for safety. We often work in close proximity to houses and people with no complaints.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash and checks (written to AJS Groundcare) plus all major credit cards! Payment is due upon job completion.
DOES THE PROPERTY OWNER NEED TO BE PRESENT?
For first time customers or where the project needs to be explained yes.
When doing repeat work (rototilling a garden or refreshing a driveway) it's not necessary.
